MAIN PRODUCTS OF APARRI CAGAYAN
I am always inspired of the saying that, “Every second, every minute of our life, there is always a positive and significant improvement”. And that, I have seen in Aparri. This place is not only rich in culture but also rich in natural resources. This is so evident because its resources are always, conserved, preserved and replenished. People here are educated on how to manage the natural resources for posterity.
To start, we move to its marine resources; Aparri is the number one source of Ipun or the Pandaka pygmea. The town of Aparri at the northernmost tip of Luzon is bisected by the Cagayan River. The potential of its water resources is tremendous such that the soft-shelled shrimp locally known as aramang and the uniquely popular udong or ludong can be found.
